Summary
This job is managing the Sales & Operations Planning process with deep analytics and evaluating business and operational performance metrics against business plans and tactical/strategic goals. The position serves as a liaison between Sales and Supply Chain & Operations to improve overall alignment, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead preparation, execution, and continuous improvement of monthly S&OP cycle.
- Ensure that decisions on balancing demand and supply are taken with all relevant stakeholders as part of the S&OP process to best support the given business and financial performance goals.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly Demand Planning as well as multi-year planning. Work closely with Sales and / or customers to provide the most accurate demand signal.
- Accountable for the ongoing analysis of demand while efficiently and accurately documenting and recording data and taking logical decisions.
- Develop, build, and automate business reporting for day-to-day use, strategic analyses, and internal business reviews.
- Initiate process improvements around S&OP and Demand Planning to achieve higher forecast accuracy, on time delivery as well as better customer satisfaction.
- Challenge the status quo and identify business risks.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
- A bachelor’s degree / FH or University and demonstrated experience in Planning or Operations in manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- Broad understanding of E2E Supply Chain processes
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong problem solving/communication/influencing skills
- Fluent in English

- Willingness to travel to all locations and business contacts.
