A day in the life

The Prologis Energy Team is seeking an ambitious and passionate Sales Operations Manager to support, enable, and optimize the solar and storage sales process. Prologis has made a public commitment to achieve 1 GW of solar and storage by year-end of 2025, and the energy business is on a path of rapid growth. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day sales enablement in a leadership role on the Global Energy Business Operations team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • In coordination with the Sales Team leadership, optimize the design of the sales process, including development and training of the sales team on tools, technologies, and resources to maximize efficiency in operations and ensure consistency across global sales teams
  • Provide complex analytical and support for sales strategy and reporting, as well as oversight of data integrity and document management.
  • Perform strategic market analytics, including TAM/SAM/SOM assessments to support market entry and penetration.
  • Set regional and individual sales targets, forecast growth to support the business plan. Track team performance and KPIs.
  • Manage sales compensation plans and incentives.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Development, and IT to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and coordination to resolve issues in the sales process.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in the energy field and/or solar industry, including direct experience with back-office sales functions and business operations.  
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and forecasting and tracking of sales KPIs.
  • Strong written and oral communications, including excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with process management and process improvement (Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma methods).
  • Demonstrated experience working laterally with business leaders to streamline processes and resolve barriers.

Hiring Salary Range of: $127,000 – $175,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
