INTRODUCTION

ABC is seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused operator to join our Revenue Operations team as Sales Operations Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, this individual contributor will take primary ownership of commercial reporting, territory planning, revenue modeling, and sales technology effectiveness across the Sales organization.

This role is central to improving revenue predictability, operating discipline, and data integrity. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling skills with deep Salesforce expertise and a structured approach to scaling sales operations in a high-growth SaaS environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own Commercial Reporting & Performance Visibility

  • Take primary ownership of core commercial reporting across bookings, pipeline, conversion, productivity, attainment, and forecast accuracy

  • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting frameworks

  • Ensure a single source of truth across Sales performance metrics

  • Drive consistent KPI definitions across Sales, Marketing, and Finance

  • Surface trends, risk signals, and performance gaps proactively

Lead Forecast Governance & Revenue Modeling

  • Own weekly forecast cadence and pipeline inspection processes

  • Build and maintain revenue forecasting models and scenario analyses

  • Conduct variance analysis and identify risk drivers early

  • Improve forecast accuracy and reduce variability quarter over quarter

Drive Territory Planning & Capacity Modeling

  • Design and refine territory segmentation and account distribution models

  • Partner with Sales leadership to optimize coverage and balance opportunity

  • Build capacity and productivity models to inform quota setting and headcount planning

  • Conduct white-space and market opportunity analysis

  • Continuously evaluate territory performance and recommend adjustments

Own Sales Tech & Systems Effectiveness

  • Serve as primary owner of Salesforce effectiveness and data integrity

  • Ensure adoption and optimization of core sales tech stack

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement scalable system improvements

  • Maintain clear process documentation and lifecycle governance standards

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on system enhancements and automation

Strengthen Sales Process & Operating Discipline

  • Design and refine scalable sales processes across segments

  • Maintain rules of engagement and territory governance frameworks

  • Support launch readiness for new products and pricing

  • Improve CRM hygiene and compliance standards

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 6–10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM Operations

  • Strong experience owning commercial reporting in SaaS environments

  • Advanced financial modeling skills (forecast modeling, capacity planning, scenario analysis)

  • Demonstrated experience designing or optimizing territory and coverage models

  • Deep Salesforce expertise and hands-on system configuration familiarity

  • Strong understanding of SaaS productivity metrics (ramp, attainment distribution, coverage ratios, conversion rates)

  • High analytical rigor with ability to translate complex models into business decisions

  • Experience influencing Sales leadership through structured data and insights

  • Builder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity

AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE

  • Experience supporting multi-segment or global sales organizations

  • Exposure to compensation plan inputs or incentive modeling

  • Experience implementing or optimizing GTM tech stacks

  • Experience scaling operational rigor in high-growth environments

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in USA and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for USA based candidates for this position is $110,200 -- $124,600 USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
