Job Title: Sales & Operations Manager

Job Summary:

This critical role involves driving business development, commercial excellence, sales force effectiveness, and customer marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the pharma and FMCG sectors, with a proven track record in stakeholder management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Commercial Excellence:
    • Drive top-line growth through innovative business development strategies.
    • Ensure effective implementation of commercial excellence initiatives and sales force effectiveness programs.
  • Customer Marketing:
    • Lead customer marketing efforts, including market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, partners, and internal teams.
    • Ensure alignment of sales and marketing activities with overall business strategies and priorities.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • MBA from a Tier 1 institution.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in sales and operations, with significant exposure to both the pharma and FMCG sectors.
  • Proven experience in business development, commercial excellence, and sales force effectiveness.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
