The Role

We’re looking for a globally-aligned Sales Operations Lead to join our team at Snap! As a member of our Global Sales Operations team, you’ll work with Sales Leadership across all sales channels and all regions around the globe to drive strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. You’ll design, own and implement key strategies that help our Sales and Cross Functional Partners drive increased value for our customers. You’ll also support key moments in our global business rhythm, such as quota setting, weekly business reviews and annual planning. Within this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales Operations teams in each region as well as global functions like Tooling and Sales Enablement. This role will play a critical role in spearheading critical initiatives that power the Sales team’s growth and success.

  

What you’ll do:

  • Create strategies and define commercial tactics to grow revenue, active customers, product adoption and sales productivity. Define actionable plans for execution. Involve, align and manage stakeholders across the organization to drive a successful global implementation.

  • Uncover best practices in the sales process that select Sales teams are using, and systematize and scale them to other teams around the world that can benefit.

  • Support weekly production of content and insights for our Global Ads Business Review.

  • Provide revenue reporting & insights, and proactively seek to improve the business in a data-driven way.

  • Be a strategic partner to our Ads Leadership team, including the Global VP of Business Planning & Operations and our Chief Business Officer
     

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Track record of partnering with a Sales organization and Sales leadership through core Sales Operations activities, including monitoring and evaluating health of the business, designing and sizing sales team structures and optimizing sales motions. 

  • Ability to collect and synthesize multiple points of view for how to address an opportunity, generate go-forward options and communicate a robust recommendation for executive-level audiences.

  • Skills in communicating effectively as a change agent through launching and driving adoption for org-wide changes and influencing leadership and team members to take new actions.

  • Experience in working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and exercising high-quality judgement in prioritizing where to invest time.

  • Skills to drive analytical rigor and data-driven problem-solving, including ability to pull data from certified sources and run analyses in spreadsheets.

  • Experience working in the media and advertising market.

 

 Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience involving analytical rigor and program management/operational skills typically seen in functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations, Finance or other similar functions.

  • 2+ years of experience working as a member of a Sales Operations team.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering or related field (or equivalent years of experience)

  • Fluency with operational ad sales data, including revenue/ attainment, sales pipeline, and sales-rep efficiency analysis

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $142,000-$214,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$203,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $121,000-$182,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
