We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Sales Operations Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our CRM integrity. Your primary mission is to ensure our Salesforce instance remains a single source of truth by identifying inaccuracies, merging duplicates, and enriching customer profiles. This is a foundational role perfect for someone looking to understand the mechanics of a modern B2B sales organization.
Your daily focus will revolve around Data Hygiene and Salesforce Optimization:
- Duplicate Management: Scour the Salesforce database to identify, analyze, and merge duplicate Lead, Contact, and Account records.
- Data Enrichment: Research and populate missing data (e.g., industry, company size, revenue, and headquarters location) for existing customer accounts.
- Record Auditing: Conduct routine checks to ensure sales reps are following data entry protocols and correct "orphaned" or misclassified records.
- Process Documentation: Help create or update "How-To" guides for the sales team to prevent future data decay.
- Special Projects: Assist the Sales Ops team with ad-hoc reporting and dashboard cleanup as needed.
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- The "Data Mindset": You find satisfaction in organization and have a high tolerance for repetitive tasks that require 100% accuracy.
- Salesforce Familiarity: Basic knowledge of Salesforce (or a similar CRM) is a major plus, but we are willing to train someone with high technical aptitude.
- Research Skills: Ability to use online resources to hunt down missing information.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills
