We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales Operations Director to lead and optimize our multi-channel B2B sales force responsible for Lyreco’s small and medium size customer segment, (known as SMB.) This role is critical to delivering sales excellence across both field and telesales channels, overseeing a team of approximately 80 salespeople and 10 sales managers, as well as managing our sales lead sourcing function. The successful candidate will bring deep, hands on experience in B2B environments, ecommerce, sales automation systems, and change management, along with a strong track record in coaching, developing, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the SMB sales organization comprising field sales, telesales, and lead sourcing teams.
- Drive the execution of sales strategy to deliver sustainable revenue growth across all ordering channels , especially ecommerce.
- Act as the key owner of sales force automation tools (e.g., CRM, pipeline management platforms), ensuring ongoing adoption and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior leadership in Asia & Europe to implement strategic initiatives and lead ongoing sales transformation and change programs.
- Develop and execute training and coaching plans to enhance sales effectiveness and build future leaders from within.
- Oversee forecasting, sales analytics, incentive planning, and KPI performance reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Learning & Development, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize the customer journey.
- Promote a data-driven sales culture through rigorous pipeline management, lead quality control, and opportunity tracking.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience (8+ years) in sales leadership or sales operations within a B2B environment.
- Experience managing large-scale sales teams (minimum 50+ reps), including both inside and field-based teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of B2B customer lifecycles and account development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change in complex sales organizations.
- Expertise in using and managing Sales Force Automation tools (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalents).
- Track record of building high-performing teams and developing management talent.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce trends and digital sales channels in the B2B space.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
