Ferguson is now hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Sales Operations Coordinator! The Sales job family merchandises, promotes and sells the company's products, and services to customers. General areas of responsibility include developing and implementing sales strategies; identifying potential customers; managing existing customer and vendor relationships; and monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends. Positions in sales operations are responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process, protecting sales and profit and simplifying complex sales.

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associate in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

Portal Maintenance & Prequalifications

  • Support the Sale and Sales Support organization with managing compliance portals.
  • Work with various groups such as HR, Health & Safety, Legal & Field associates.
  • Report on-site work hours for customers.
  • Fill out prequalification questionnaires to vet Ferguson as a viable supplier

Special Projects

  • Assist with special projects as dictated by peak seasons and workload
  • Assist with other tasks within National Accounts groups. These can consist of the following: Reporting, Customer Matches, Account Maintenance.

Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Adhering to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. Performing other duties or functions as requested by management.

Qualifications:
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvement and process documentation.
  • Self-motivated and a quick learner.
  • Strong communication skills which allow you to communicate effectively with individuals, in a group setting, and in writing.
  • Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking/decision-making skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally.

$15.00 - $27.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
