Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Sales Operations Coordinator II based at our Greenville, NC location. 

  

What you will do: 

  • Sales Operations & Account Support: Coordinate and manage day-to-day sales operations activities for assigned accounts and business initiatives. Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, customers, and channel partners to ensure requests, orders, and projects move efficiently from initiation through completion. 

  • Order & Process Management: Monitor order activity throughout the lifecycle, ensuring orders are accurately entered, configured, quoted, scheduled, fulfilled, and invoiced. Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. 

  • Customer & Partner Communication: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales representatives, channel partners, and cross-functional teams. Respond to inquiries, provide status updates, and ensure timely communication regarding orders, programs, and business initiatives. 

  • Business Development Support: Support sales and business development efforts by coordinating customer programs, preparing reports, tracking key metrics, and assisting with the execution of strategic account initiatives. Help identify opportunities to improve customer experience and overall account performance. 

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and maintain sales and operational data to support decision-making. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide visibility into account performance, sales activity, and operational effectiveness. 

  • Process Improvement & Problem Solving: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, resolve operational challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 2+ years of relevant industry experience 

  • 8+ years of equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 

 

Skills, Experience, & Abilities:    

  • Experience supporting sales operations, business development, account management, customer service, or order management functions 

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions 

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP platforms, order management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills 

  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer support 

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
