Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & Customer Relationship Management
• Prepare and process customer quotations, sales orders, invoices, and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer businesses and identify opportunities to increase account value and revenue.
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.
• Manage walk-in, telephonic, and email enquiries professionally and timeously.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer businesses and identify opportunities to increase account value and revenue.
• Drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.
• Manage walk-in, telephonic, and email enquiries professionally and timeously.
• Work closely with the Business Development and Branch teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Operations & Inventory Coordination
• Support effective stock management by promoting available inventory and identifying opportunities to move slow-moving stock.
• Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels through active coordination with relevant departments.
• Monitor customer demand trends and assist with inventory planning initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, procurement, and logistics functions.
Business Support & Market Intelligence
• Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across the company's aluminium hardware product range.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to support business growth initiatives.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and strategies to increase market share.
• Support customer segmentation and account development plans.
• Analyse customer purchasing trends and recommend opportunities for increased profitability.
Administration & Reporting
• Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Review customer account status, credit limits, and age analyses before order processing.
• Manage outstanding orders and follow up on pending transactions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales information.
• Prepare reports and provide administrative support to management as required.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail across all documentation.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

Requirements
Qualifications
• Completed tertiary qualification (non-negotiable) in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Marketing, Industrial Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
• 2-5 years' experience within a commercial environment, including exposure to:
o Internal Sales
o Sales Support
o Customer Service
o Operations Coordination
o Supply Chain

Skills Required
- Completed tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Marketing, Industrial Psychology, Finance, or related field.
