Reporting directly to the Director of Sales Enablement, you will serve as program manager and facilitator of our comprehensive sales onboarding experience. As our Sales Onboarding Program Lead, you will deliver and continuously improve structured learning experience that transform new hires into productive, confident sales professionals who can effectively engage prospects and existing customers.

This role is perfect for an experienced onboarding facilitator who thrives on creating engaging, interactive experiences that drive lasting impact. Taking direction from our Senior Sales Onboarding & Development Lead, you'll have the opportunity to refine and expand our onboarding programs. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires receive consistent, impactful training that aligns with our sales approach and company culture.

What You Will do as the Sales Onboarding Lead:

  • Orchestrate multi-week onboarding journeys that seamlessly blend virtual training, daily live training, self-paced learning modules, and hands-on application exercises
  • Manage onboarding cohorts with precision, ensuring consistent experiences while thoughtfully adapting to different learning styles and individual needs
  • Support enablement programs that equip sales leaders with practical tools, frameworks, and strategies to support new hire success
  • Manage & report on competency-based certifications for each sales role, ensuring measurable skill development and role readiness
  • Build interactive learning paths within learning management systems that engage learners and maximize knowledge retention
  • Build realistic simulation environments that provide safe practice opportunities before live customer interactions
  • Establish robust onboarding success metrics including time-to-productivity benchmarks, retention rates, and comprehensive performance indicators
  • Collect and systematically analyze feedback from new hires, managers, and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve programs
  • Track detailed learning analytics to identify knowledge gaps, optimize content delivery methods, and personalize learning experiences
  • Stay current on onboarding best practices and proactively incorporate innovative learning approaches and emerging technologies

What You Will Accomplish: 

  • First 30 days: Consume the current onboarding experience, assist with content creation for the developing onboarding experience, interview recent hires and their managers, and identify immediate and future iterative needs and strategic opportunities
  • First 60 days: Successfully assume full responsibility for coordinating, managing and facilitating the current onboarding program and on-site Bootcamps
  • First 90 days: Deliver detailed recommendations for an enhanced onboarding approach that strategically incorporates seller and sales leadership feedback. Continuously build the learning paths of newly developed courses in the LMS and supplemental tools, including but not limited to the AI roleplay simulation tool (SecondNature), Gong, and other tools incorporated in the onboarding journey

What You Will Bring as the Sales Onboarding Lead:

  • Onboarding Program Management: Proven experience managing a comprehensive new hire experiences from initial orientation through full competency
  • Solid Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to comfortably and confidently present and engage diverse audiences in both small group and large audience situations
  • Facilitation Mastery: Exceptional skills in group facilitation, with proven ability to manage diverse learning styles while keeping all participants actively engaged both in breakout sessions and large group facilitation
  • Interactive Training Design: Strong track record creating effective role-plays, realistic simulations, and exercises that reinforce key concepts and drive skill development
  • Sales Acumen: Deep, practical understanding of the sales process, common challenges, and key performance drivers across different sales roles
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Strong one-on-one coaching skills to support individual learning needs and accelerate personalized skill development
  • Project Management: Proven ability to successfully manage multiple onboarding and training initiatives simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Adult Learning Expertise: Deep understanding of how adults learn most effectively, with demonstrated ability to design engaging, retention-focused experiences
  • Learning Assessment: Proven ability to  implement competency-based assessments and comprehensive certification programs
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong skills in working effectively with hiring managers, HR teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless onboarding experiences
  • Results-Oriented with a Service Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to achieving measurable results with a strong focus on providing excellent ongoing support

Preferred But Not required:

  • Training Certifications: ATD, CPLP, or similar recognized adult learning certifications
  • Sales Experience: Direct experience as a seller to bring real-world credibility & insights
  • Technology Expertise: Experience with GTM tools like SFDC, Highspot, Gong, and Clari
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity & threat intelligence domain
  • Change Management: Demonstrated experience helping organizations successfully adopt new processes and behavioral changes
