About
the Role
BCE
Systems is seeking a commercially strong, disciplined and self-driven Sales
Officer to support the company’s growth by building and managing a serious
sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities, following up prospects,
developing client relationships, and converting opportunities into business.
The
Sales Officer will be responsible for ensuring that opportunities do not go
cold, clients are followed up professionally, prospects are actively developed,
CRM records are maintained, and sales activities are executed and closed with
discipline and urgency.
This
role is ideal for a commercially hungry professional closer who wants to grow
with the company and has the potential to eventually develop into a Sales
Management role, subject to demonstrated performance and sustainable business
growth.
Key
Responsibilities
1.
Sales Pipeline Development
a) Identify,
pursue and qualify new business opportunities across BCE’s target markets.
b) Build
and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, leads and opportunities.
c) Conduct
outreach through calls, emails, meetings, visits, networking and other
appropriate channels.
d) Research
target organizations, decision-makers, procurement cycles and potential project
opportunities.
e) Maintain
consistent follow-up with prospective clients until opportunities are clearly
closed, converted or disqualified.
2.
Business Development & Client Engagement
a) Develop
and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
b) Understand
client needs and communicate them clearly to the Managing Director and
technical team.
c) Arrange
meetings, demonstrations, calls and follow-up engagements with prospects and
clients.
d) Identify
opportunities for repeat business, renewals, upgrades, cross-selling and
account expansion.
e) Represent
BCE Systems professionally in client-facing engagements.
f) Keep
dormant or past clients active through structured follow-up and relationship
management.
3.
Sales Coordination & Commercial Support
a) Support
preparation of quotations, commercial proposals and client responses.
b) Coordinate
with internal technical, finance and administrative teams to obtain information
required for sales follow-up.
c) Follow
up with suppliers, partners and manufacturers on non-technical commercial
information when required.
d) Track
client requests, pending quotations, submissions and action points.
e) Ensure
all sales opportunities are documented, updated and followed through.
f) Maintain
a database of clients and prospects.
g) Demonstrate
ownership, accountability and consistency in sales execution.
4.
CRM, Reporting & Sales Discipline
a) Update
the company’s CRM system accurately and consistently.
b) Maintain
records of leads, calls, meetings, proposals, quotations, opportunities and
follow-up actions.
c) Prepare
weekly sales activity reports for review with the Managing Director.
d) Track
sales performance metrics, including leads generated, meetings held, quotations
issued, opportunities advanced and deals closed.
e) Support
pipeline review meetings and provide accurate status updates on all assigned
opportunities.
f) Ensure
that no serious lead, enquiry or opportunity is left unattended.

Inbound Enquiries & Customer Follow-Up
a) Respond
to assigned inbound sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
b) Qualify
inbound prospects and escalate serious opportunities.
c) Follow
up clients after meetings, quotations, submissions and project discussions.
d) Capture
client feedback and identify areas where BCE can improve its products, services
or engagement.
e) Support
customer satisfaction by maintaining professional communication before, during
and after the sales process.
Requirements
Required
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s
degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, ICT,
Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At
least 3–5 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, account
management or technology sales.
3. Experience
in ICT, telecommunications, security systems, public safety, cybersecurity or
systems integration will be a strong advantage.
4. Proven
ability to prospect, follow up, build relationships and close or support
closure of business opportunities.
5. Strong
written and spoken communication skills.
6. Good
presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency
in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email tools and general business software.
8. Ability
to understand technical products and solutions sufficiently to communicate
their business value to clients.
9. Existing
networks in enterprise, government, NGOs, telecommunications, security, or
related sectors will be an added advantage.
