Sales & Marketing Controller, Turkey
About the Role
At Essity, we have a great opportunity in our Health & Medical Controlling team for a Sales & Marketing Controller. In this role you will be responsible for the full portfolio of controlling activities for the Turkish, Health & Medical business. You will be engaged in month end closing, various financial analysis together with supporting the commercial teams and driving the forecasting and budget process.
This role reports directly to the Senior Sales & Marketing Controller MEA & West Asia.

What You Will Do

Complete the Period End Close process by maintaining systems to ensure accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations;

Complete the Period End Close process by reconciling sales analytics data to management account data;

Complete monthly financial analysis/business review package (e.g. Act P&L MTD, QTD and YTD vs. last year and vs. current forecast, Volume Price Mix analysis, Price tracking, EBITA and SGA deviation analysis and Rolling 3 months Forecast etc.);

Develop the pricing and margin reporting to support the profitability drive;

Develop and keep track of Cost to Serve P&L by therapeutic area and Channels or other meaningful segments.;

Control and analysis of customer rebates & price support. Own the controls and processes and reviewing these regularly;

In charge of budgeting and forecasting process for the Health & Medical business units for Turkey;

Support the commercial team with information & analysis requests and provide financial perspective on projects;

Responsible for analysis of income and expenditure for month end reports, plus the production of monthly management accounts, reviewing customer profitability, and ensuring all statistical information is correct.
Who You Are

Must have Accounting degree. Further qualification i.e. Honors, Chartered Accountant, CIMA, etc. will be advantageous;

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a same or similar role in Accounting ideally in Med Tech/FMCG industry with a Global structure;

Proficient Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience in financial information and reporting systems, SAP and AARO;

Must be organized, deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and numeric accuracy;

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be fluent in English;

Must be strategically agile in understanding all business components and how they fit together;

Must be collaborative at all levels internally, externally, cross functionally.
