Description
Steinway & Sons is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to support key initiatives across executive leadership, sales, and marketing functions. This full-time position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about music and interested in contributing to a globally recognized luxury brand at the intersection of music, branding, and the arts.
Approximately 50% of this role will involve direct administrative and operational support to the President and Vice President of Retail, while the remaining responsibilities will focus on marketing and sales support initiatives, including social media coordination, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement efforts.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to strategic business initiatives, and support day-to-day operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative and operational support to the President and Vice President of Retail, including scheduling, meeting coordination, reporting, and project follow-up
· Assist in the planning, execution, and marketing of national and local sales events and promotional campaigns
· Support social media initiatives, content coordination, and digital marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
· Analyze customer data from CRM systems to identify trends in lead generation, customer engagement, and customer satisfaction
· Coordinate and support high-impact sales initiatives across multiple regions
· Research and develop strategic recommendations for brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and experiential events
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of marketing and operational projects
· Coordinate appointment-desk operations for urgency and promotional events, including scheduling customer appointments and sending confirmation emails
· Provide on-site support at urgency and promotional events, working the event day-of
· Support promotional events alongside the marketing lead and attend on her behalf when needed
· Provide operational and logistical support for institutional events, retail special projects, and retail showroom buildouts
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Music Business, or a related field required
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, executive support, or a related field
· A background or strong personal connection to piano and/or classical music required
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and social media platforms
· Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools is a plus
· Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach to work
