Job Description

NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for someone to DRIVE THE BUSINESS in the Biogas Market. They develop, implement and execute strategies and associated road-maps to drive the sales within the Biogas market throughout the U.S. This person is already or will become the expert in the market, speaks the language of the market and possesses expert competence in product, applications and trends. He/she is responsible to identify, target, and establish networks (customers, partners, associations, suppliers, etc.) to build and manage successful relationships within the Biogas market. This person knows the market like the back of their own hand and is known in the market as a trusted partner and uses the network to reach the strategic goals. In addition this person, among other things, will:

  • Responsible for profitable and sustainable growth of sales, after sales and service for all relevant NETZSCH Pumps USA products for the defined market(s)
  • Develop sales propositions (potentially as new business model) for any relevant product with customer pay back in mind and monetize NETZSCH’s features and benefits for them
  • Present NETZSCH solutions to Industry influencers and specifying Engineering firms (EPCs) to put us in the pole position at bid day.
  • Research market conditions, trends, and specific customers/applications to determine potential sales and new product/product modification opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain Key Accounts and business contacts within the industry.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have solid negotiation skills which includes the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize and cooperate. They will be driven to achieve results. Candidates will also have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business and/or technical background is highly preferred) from four-year college or technical school; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Existing Market, Product and Application knowledge is highly preferred.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills are a must. Ability to read, write and comprehend market and industry reports and technical studies. Must have the ability to explain complex concepts and processes in simple and clear language.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects and action plans on time are. Must be able (with the support of your supervisor) to develop C-Level Market Strategies including specific action plans to reach the established sales and profitability goals in the assigned market.
  • Must have and maintain a valid passport and driver’s license. Must have the ability to work from a home office when not traveling. Job requires domestic travel of 50% with occasional international travel.
