Job purpose:
As a Marketing manager FS & Local QSR you will identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the potato and appetizer categories towards the Foodservice and QSR market in the respective country/region. You will contribute to the set business objectives of the region by successfully activating our propositions in collaboration with the local commercial and central European Marketing team.
This is a Benelux & Nordics role, it is mainly a home based job with lots of contact with the team along the road, in The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an integrated country business strategy based on European brand and activation strategy and locals opportunities
- Lead and activate prioritized business opportunities in FS and QSR
- Prepare and monitor the implementation of marketing plans, including (trade) marketing plans.
- Design cluster execution plans, including strategy, budget, forecast, and reporting.
- Drive the (online-offline) activation calendar and deliver on the lead generation objectives via campaigns and tradeshows.
- Make recommendations for insights, growth strategies, and supporting tactics at the regional level.
- Conduct market analysis and gain insights specific to the cluster, identifying and translating them into business opportunities.
- Utilize market and customer insights to develop customer specific value propositions for customers.
- Deliver strategic win-win solutions through category management principles and LTO focus.
- Take responsibility and accountability for McCain's performance in the cluster.
- Be and act as a team leader based on the McCain Leadership Principles.
About You:
- Strong marketing background preferable in Food Service
- 5+ years of experience in an FMCG company
- Excellent communication skills, written & spoken
- Very strong command of English and Dutch language, written & spoken
- Strong analytical & project management skills
- Passion for food and foodservice market
- Digital affinity with lead generation
- Highly organized and able to work in a fast passed work environment
- Takes initiative and works across boundaries
- Willingness to travel as needed
