Your Challenge: Aggressively Solicit Group Business and Lead Strategic Sales Efforts to Maximize Room and Food & Beverage Revenue!
Ready to take charge of group sales and provide the strategic vision needed to drive ambitious revenue growth? We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Group Sales Leader to join our team!
This role is focused entirely on soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed stringent revenue goals across both room sales and food and beverage (F&B), requiring a professional, knowledgeable, and goal-oriented approach.
You are the engine of group revenue, responsible for full sales cycle management, strategic planning, and aggressive business development.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Aggressive Prospecting & Solicitation: Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through continuous telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication.
Strategic Vision: Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing division, providing the strategic vision for maximum hotel sales generation and optimal revenue growth.
Target Achievement: Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth targets, maintaining a professional and knowledgeable approach on every new business call.
Relationship Building: Forge relationships and build rapport. Cultivate, enhance, and leverage external and internal relationships to elevate hotel and market share awareness and drive business.
Market Presence: Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings to represent the hotel and generate leads.
Administrative & Meetings: Promptly prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports, and maintain files. Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings.
This position requires proven sales experience, leadership potential, and relevant educational background.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a management or leadership role (hospitality, retail, food service preferred). 3–4 years of work experience in hospitality sales is highly desired.
Education: An Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related business field is preferred.
