As the CORE Sales Manager at Malin, you are at the helm of driving our company’s expansion and success. Your pivotal role encompasses leading and nurturing our CORE Sales Representatives at one of our 7 branches, blending targeted account management with strategic territorial outreach. As the CORE Sales Manager, you're not just leading a team; you're sculpting the future of Malin's sales force, balancing the art of salesmanship with the science of strategic market growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute strategic sales plans that align with Malin's Annual Operating Priorities, focusing on both growth of existing accounts and acquisition of new ones within your territories.
  • Coach and develop the CORE Sales Representatives, guiding them through the nuances of lead generation, account management, and deal development.
  • Build a team culture that thrives on collaboration, ensuring strong client relationships are formed and nurtured, and new business opportunities are continuously explored.
  • Lead by example in industry events, maximizing networking opportunities and lead generation efforts to bolster our market presence.
  • Design and deliver training sessions that sharpen the team’s sales skills, with a strong emphasis on product expertise, effective prospecting techniques, and crafting winning discovery strategies.
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of sales activities and performance, utilizing CRM and other technological tools to keep all client and sales data organized and accessible.
  • Work closely with both CORE and Business Development sales teams to ensure a fluid integration of leads into the sales process, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our pipeline.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends and customer needs, adjusting our sales approach and value proposition to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Drive and inspire the team to surpass sales targets and KPIs, fostering an environment of achievement and continuous improvement.

Successful candidates will have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution centers, or other industrial settings.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve new business acquisition goals.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify operational challenges and propose impactful solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, fostering partnerships with experts to enhance customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree; preference given to candidates with a background in Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, or Industrial Automation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales leadership, with a focus on nurturing new customer relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Adept at critical thinking, actively listening to identify challenges and generate solutions.
