Job DescriptionTo manage a regional team of financial planners in order to drive the provision of appropriate financial and estate planning advice to Standard Bank clients that solve for their financial needs whilst ensuring that this is done within the prescribed legislation. To represent a region as the Key Individual for Stanfin.
Qualifications- Bachelor of Commerce Degree or related
- Certified Financial Planner is advantageous
- A valid Driver's License with own vehicle
Additional Information
Experience:
- 5-7 years General banking experience in a Sales environment of which 1-2 years were spent in a managerial capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis by evaluating and identifying trends to manage any process gaps and risks in order to protect the Bank.
Act as key interface to all internal third party relationship network with product suppliers and distribution channels in the Group including CIB, STANLIB, Insurers and Offshore. in order to provide guidance to the planners.
Ensure that the planners service clients in line with the Stanfin value proposition and legislation (e.g., planners review client portfolios on an annual basis and records it accordingly).
Develop working class relationships and networks with strategic stakeholders within Wealth and Investment Credit, Card and other associate divisions to ensure that the queries and concerns of the client are dealt with in a timely manner.
Review volume and workload of financial planners and make the necessary adjustments to portfolios in order to optimise Stanfin footprint
