The Opportunity
Are you ready to make waves in the offshore wind industry? At Hitachi Energy, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers the chance to lead the charge in developing and executing strategies for large-scale offshore wind projects. You will be instrumental in assessing project viability, proposing optimal solutions, and driving successful outcomes. How You'll Make an Impact
Understand and anticipate customer needs, projecting innovative solutions.
Assess the viability of large projects from historical, financial, competitive, and risk perspectives.
Propose optimal partners, suppliers, and contract execution setups.
Initiate, coordinate, and lead capture teams for individual pursuits.
Maintain momentum of large virtual teams during multiyear sales cycles.
Prepare material for internal governance and approval processes.
Participate as a senior representative in final sales negotiations of multimillion-dollar projects.
Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.
Your Background
Minimum 12 years of experience in the energy industry, preferably in EP projects, transmission & distribution, or utility/transmission development.
Background in HVDC is highly preferred.
Keen interest in complexities, with a sense of urgency and persistence in achieving goals.
Industry expert with credibility and a strong name in the industry.
Proven record of managing complex pursuits and closing multimillion-dollar contracts.
History of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
