Job Summary

Our ideal sales manager has a proven track record of achieving/exceeding company Metrics/KPI's, proficient computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, great judgment skills and excellent attendance/time management skills. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
What You Will Do As A Sales Manager
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. Responsible for hitting minimum KPI expectation for production.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the home warranty industry.
Target Setting: Set clear and achievable sales targets for individual team members and monitor performance against these targets.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance the sales skills and knowledge of team members.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and preferences, address any concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to accurately forecast future sales volumes and make informed business decisions.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues that arise in the sales process promptly and effectively, finding creative solutions to overcome obstacles and achieve sales goals.
Budget Management: Manage the sales department budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
What You Will Bring As A Sales Manager
Proven experience in sales management in call center environment, preferably within the home warranty or insurance industry.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

ATTENDNACE/SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Due to the nature of this role, we require candidates who can work in the office on Monday- Friday with the flexibility to work evenings and scheduled weekends.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: $67,500 - $94,500 Annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
