Role Overview:
● The Quality Support Manager accelerates quality support to customers by:
○ Collaborating with customers, internal quality teams, and sales teams to resolve quality-related issues.
○ Solving problems to prevent obstacles or delays in product introduction and maintenance of existing business.
○ Building relationships with customer quality teams to establish IGC as a "high-quality reference" and true partner in quality.
Scope of Work:
● Covers all quality aspects in the manufacturing of IGC products. This includes knowledge of IGC products and application know-how, understanding of customer products and processes, customer communication, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.
● The main geographical focus is Japan, but travel to Europe and Canada may be required (e.g., for customer audits).
● Main customers are domestic battery, friction materials, and polymer customers.
● Travel: Approximately 40% of total time.

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Belong to sales team and support sales team on quality-related themes for all applications, especially in resolving quality issues.
● Handle customer quality claims, working with quality and sales teams to resolve problems.
● Respond to customer factory audits and related tasks.
● Handle customer communication regarding 4M changes at each IGC factory.
● Facilitate access to all levels within customer and distributor organizations, sharing information with Imerys Graphite & Carbon leadership.
● Conduct surveys related to environmental regulated substances and CFP (Carbon Foot Print).
● Handle NDA execution.
● Process sample orders and support domestic sales team.
