JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT: Sales.

LOCATION: Dallas, Corporate Office.

REPORTS TO: National Director of Group Sales.

JOB DUTIES

  • ​Manages all inquiries regarding events and general information concerning event reservations.
  • Works with clients to develop event contracts that clarify and confirm their needs, schedule, pricing, equipment rentals, etc.
  • Responsible for selling event space and managing corporate or private events including movie premieres, film festivals, and special screenings.
  • Identifies qualifying business potential, closing business, overcoming objections, negotiating, upselling, and understanding the client's needs through selling.
  • Generates leads via virtual communication, efficient and compelling sales proposals, and relevant customer data.
  • Supports and grows relationships with clients to generate additional sales and future business.
  • Provides support for theater level events such as field trips, birthday parties, and small group events.
  • Accurately maintains all associated and assigned logs and or reports including monthly sales forecast reports and sales tracking classification.
  • Follows up with clients to ensure satisfaction and future business.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field desired.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Group Sales, Event/Promotion management in an entertainment, and hospitality industry.
  • Up to 20% business related travel and must be able to attend events including holidays and/or weekends.
  • Previous experience with film-related events or festivals a plus.
  • Business-to-business marketing experience a plus.

SKILLS

  • Good written and oral communication and time management skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.
  • Knowledge and Proficiency using a CRM system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office software.
