WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Americas, this position is primarily responsible for initiating, growing, and maintaining business relationships with customers through personal visits, telephone conversation and other forms of media. It requires an exceedingly high level of customer service and personal attention, including being readily accessible to the client and troubleshooting problems, all the while maintaining customer service levels. Must have knowledge of the industry and Stora Enso’s products, and must be able to set priorities and manage time wisely.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop Consumer Board sales to the market.
- Support sales activities to existing and new potential customers.
- Manage local profitability and working capital.
- Report KPI´s related to sales, profitability and working capital.
- Develop and execute Division/Segment sales plan to the specific market/country.
- Execute marketing initiatives locally.
- Input yearly sales budgeting and plans.
- Ensure that customer data, price and rebate agreements are up to date in our order entry and invoicing system (Fenix) in cooperation with CSCs.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide input and support in customer negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Participate in and support possible Key Account Management teams.
- Maintain customer information in CRM e.g., upload of customer visit reports.
- Obtain Customer contracts and ensure approval by Division Management.
AUTHORITIES - The position holder has the authority regarding:
- Identifying and developing sales to new and existing customers.
- Obtaining Customer agreements within the guidelines of the Divisions and ensuring that Division Management approves the agreements.
- The position holder does not have the authority to conclude customer agreements or their terms on behalf of the selling unit.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience from sales of converted paperboard packaging products is an advantage.
- Initiative-taking attitude and outgoing character with excellent social skills.
- Ability to perform different tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- An excellent team player.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University or related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills, as we are a multinational company that relies primarily on its systems to facilitate the sales process.
