Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective Energy Industries Division sales strategy within the specified market scope (regional/global) and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market presence and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your management skills by overseeing, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to ensure the sales targets through consistent efforts.

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries Division in Asia region. Main stakeholders are customers in LNG terminals, petrochemical complexes, refineries, hydrogen facilities, and utility-scale power plants.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Anticipating and identifying shortfalls in performance and taking necessary remedial actions promptly.
Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determining plans for implementation, and allocating required resources.
Planning and executing customer surveys and acting on the survey results to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
Facilitating strategic pursuits and customer engagement, positioning ABB as a trusted advisor.
Managing tendering, costing, and commercial negotiations for large-scale bids.
Utilizing standardized sales tools (Salesforce, account planning) and adhering to governance protocols.
Reaching automation order booking targets via strategic opportunity management.
Qualifications for the role
You are highly skilled in structured sales processes, Salesforce tools, and the Energy Industries market.
You have 8–10 years of experience in Energy Industries, with a minimum of 5 years in front-end sales for automation/control solutions.
Possess advanced knowledge of ICSS, PMS, SCADA, Telecommunication, and Digital Solutions.
You are focused on strategic thinking, commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Degree in Engineering or Business; MBA.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
