Major tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and secure spec-ins with Japanese OEM/Tier to expand market share in new energy, home appliances, and consumer IoT.
- Identify and aggressively pursue new customer accounts through proactive customer targeting and solution development.
- Conduct competitive and market analyses to understand customer technical requirements, market trends, and business development strategies.
- Manage the sales pipeline and revenue targets to ensure consistent achievement of the annual sales budget and business growth.
- Grow existing business while aggressively developing new customers / applications.
Value added to the success of the company
1. Sales: Achieve budgeted sales volume and margin targets.
2. Marketing: Conduct market surveys and initiate and execute new projects with new customers.
3. Business monitoring: Manage sales forecasts, ensure forecast accuracy, and oversee credit/inventory management.
4. Reporting: Prepare monthly reports covering industry trends, competitor activities, and price trends, utilizing C4C, NCG, and ECG.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or higher
2. At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the industry.
3. Fluent in spoken and written English and Japanese.
4. Demonstrated ability to proactively and persistently engage customers through to the final design win (spec-in).
5. Sound knowledge of customers, competitive products, applications, and manufacturing processes.
