Job Description

  • Good technical knowledge of yard and port bulk material handling equipment i.e. majorly covers stacker, reclaimer, ship-loader, ship un-loader, yard conveyor
  • Techno-commercial business development and sales of yard and port bulk material handling equipment i.e. majorly covers stacker, reclaimer, ship-loader, ship un-loader, yard conveyor etc. on EPS and EPSI basis for the target industry viz. mining, cement, steel, power, cement & port industry.
  • Excellence in combining technical knowledge with sales skills to act as a primary contact for client need assessment, development of technical specifications, preparation & submission of proposals.
  • Techno-commercial negotiation and closure with customer
  • Should have a good knowledge of target Industry.
  • To assess and mitigate the project risks
  • Lead generation / Identification.
  • Should have good knowledge of tender review including drawing and its technical interpretation to select the right equipment and sizing from the available portfolio. Bid / No Bid analysis / Screening of the tenders
  • To attend technical and commercial meetings with client / consultants and converting into orders.
  • Customer engagement for technical closure including visiting to site (if required).
  • Maintaining strong communication and ensuring sales efforts are in alignment with business goal.
  • Team Building, nurturing and ensuring organization growth & achievement of targets in line with BEUMER Leadership Principles.
  • Competitor Analysis, Customer intelligence, track the trends, etc.
  • SWOT analysis of various sectors.
  • Lost order analysis
  • Branding related activities (stalls at various exhibitions / Presentations / Cold calls with customers
  • An individual with Customer-First attitude.

Target Industry – Mining, Steel, Power, Ports, Cement, Chemical etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mining)
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in sales / proposal of bulk material handling equipment i.e. majorly covers stacker, reclaimer, ship-loader, ship un-loader, yard conveyor
