To accelerate our expansion, we’re looking for a Sales Manager who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to help scale a climate-positive business across Europe and beyond.

Your role :
Under the supervision of our Sales Director, you will be in charge of selling Fairmat’s materials in several markets (Sporting Goods, Construction, Automotive etc...) :
1/ Business Development: Ignite Sales Growth
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities in USA
- Map key markets, build target lists, and develop outreach strategies aligned with our sector priorities
- Represent Fairmat at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our value proposition
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to tailor outreach and pitch materials to vertical-specific needs
- Establish channel partnerships or OEM collaborations where strategic
2/ Sales Execution & Deal Closure: Seal 4 to 8 Contracts Annually
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signature, with C-level and technical stakeholders
- Understand technical and commercial requirements and translate them into winning proposals
- Prepare and present compelling offers, including pricing, terms, lead times, and logistics
- Negotiate contracts and framework agreements that align with company strategy and margin goals
- Ensure smooth handover to operations and customer success teams post-closing
3/ Account Management & Expansion
- Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, ensuring high satisfaction and responsiveness
- Develop multi-stakeholder relationships to strengthen account stickiness
- Monitor account performance, gather feedback, and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Manage renewals and contract extensions, working to increase account lifetime value
- Provide accurate revenue forecasts and contribute to budgeting exercises
4/ Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Report regularly on pipeline, KPIs, and deal progression using our CRM
- Share client insights with the Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to help shape roadmap and delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales playbooks and go-to-market tactics
- Actively participate in team rituals and knowledge sharing
Your profile:
- You have a degree in Business development, negotiation or international business
- You have a interest in BtoB Business Development: specializing in complex, high-stakes deals with long sales cycles
- Keen interest in the industrial sector
- Real interest in targeted markets, like Sporting goods or Construction
- Exceptional communication aptitude
- A perfect English: a prerequisite for global impact
Skills Required
- Degree in business development, negotiation, or international business
- Experience in B2B business development with complex, long sales cycles
- Proven ability to manage full sales cycle and close deals with C-level and technical stakeholders
- Keen interest in the industrial sector and targeted markets (e.g., Sporting Goods, Construction, Automotive)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English (native/near-native)
- Experience using CRM to report pipeline, KPIs, and forecasts
