Introduction
iRobot is seeking a passionate, data-driven Sales Manager to help grow our US retail business, supporting key retailers such as Amazon and Costco.This role is responsible for maximizing performance across eCommerce and club channels by building strategic customer partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and executing profitable growth strategies.
Success in this role requires strong communication, negotiation, forecasting and analytical skills, and hands-on experience driving eCommerce visibility and sales.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue growth and margin targets
- Serve as a strong advocate for your retail partners, with experience in the unique needs of eCommerce and club channels
- Capture and communicate customer requirements and insights to improve execution
- Monitor and report on market conditions, competitive activity, pricing, promotions, and assortment opportunities
- Deliver accurate sell-in and sell-through forecasts based on trends, promotions, launches, and inventory dynamics
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute promotions and new product launches
- Manage and optimize market development funds through comprehensive channel plans that drive revenue and awareness
- Track inventory levels and sell-through performance to proactively manage risk and opportunity
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, and finance teams to resolve account-related questions
- Regularly review digital storefronts and customer experiences to ensure alignment with merchandising and advertising strategies
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities within existing accounts and through new distribution channels
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of sales management experience, preferably within CPG, CE, or appliances
- Experience managing Amazon and club retailers
- Understanding of revenue, margin and sales drivers
- Proven negotiation skills with a results-driven, hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
- Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Fluency in English
