Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Sales Manager for Switzerland to join our mission. Responsible for the sales activities of the lead division High Power and the division Services, you'll lead the Swiss Sales team, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and ensure our drives, motors, and services reach the Swiss market by consistently meeting customers' expectations.
This is a pivotal role for ABB's growth in Switzerland. We want a sales professional who thrives on customer-centricity, inspires people, and guides the team toward growth with focus and vision. If you’re ready to execute, innovate, and achieve significant goals, this is your stage.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading and developing the Front-End Sales team into the future
Identifying and evaluating market trends, growth opportunities, and converting them into strategic initiatives that are aligned with global and local stakeholders
Significant contribution to drive the market and business intelligence
Accountable for effective and efficient sales operations, including forecasting, analyzing, and ensuring performance, safety, and integrity, as well as streamlined processes
Establishing and maintaining strong relations with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve goals in a collaborative manner
Qualifications for the role
Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales, account-/product management, business development, or similar roles - preferably in related sectors
A higher degree in sales, management, or a relevant technical field matching our solutions
Strong motivation to lead self and others - Direct or indirect leadership experience is advantageous
Entrepreneurial, resilient, strategic and innovative mindset with the required skills, to turn ideas and ambitions into results
Professional, effective communication and negotiation skills. High level of motivation, self-drive and “can-do” mentality
Fluent in German and English, French and Italian as an advantage, any other language as a bonus
