YOUR MISSION
Q-Commerce is the second biggest category inside Glovo. We are currently building a strong team to re-invent how consumers buy their groceries and any other product in their city, making it more convenient and easy than ever.
Be a key role in developing the Q Commerce Specialties Vertical in Romania. Specialties are grocery stores that focus on selling a specific category or type of grocery item. Unlike a general supermarket that stocks a wide range of food and household products, a specialty store focuses on a particular niche such as organic products.
THE JOURNEY
- Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy to expand our partner base in the app
- Conduct full-cycle sales outreach, from initial contact to negotiation, closing deals, and managing upsell opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align our service offerings with client needs and market trends
- Develop and maintain an active prospects funnel, always enriched from new market data as a base for the strategic growth plan development
- Prepare, present and negotiate the offer according to the company policy
- Provide insights into market demands to aid in the ongoing development and innovation of our services.
- Seal partnerships with the best accounts, always aligned with the company goals, keep your pipeline updated on a daily basis
- As owner of Glovo’s revenue, you’ll make sure that all deals follow the required profitability
- Build long-term partnerships and ensure a fast and smooth onboarding
- Be responsible for the signed partners' business performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for business growth.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- 2 to 3 years of relevant hands-on sales experience, key contacts in the industry are a plus
- You have a mindset of a hunter, who always reaches the right decision maker
- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales targets in previous roles, showcasing tangible achievements and results. Ambition to overachieve targets is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex client needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Ability to adapt selling techniques to different client personalities and organizational structures, demonstrating a flexible and dynamic approach
- You are a methodological fast learner who is familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc)
- Get things done attitude, proactive, organized, and obsessed with details
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
- A high level of interpersonal and influencing skills, an empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude
- Comfortable working in a high-growth and high-performance start-up environment
- Romanian proficiency and a very good command of English are a must
