Procelys aims to support industrial fermentation industries by providing nutrients and expertise to improve growth and productivity of microorganisms and cell cultures. Job DescriptionThe role's responsibility is to execute the sales strategy in South-east Asia, Australia New Zealand and Taiwan & deliver the targeted budget (volume, net sales) and commercial KPI for your markets. The role will be part of a multicultural & international environment and must coordinate with the team to optimize between products / applications, and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities include the followings,
- Follow the Procelys business plan to achieve budgeted revenue and profitability targets in your area
- Develop application knowledge in each of our key market segments (biopharma, food & feed bioingredients, cultures & probiotics, renewable chemicals, and bio-agriculture) to communicate credibly with our customers
- Actively promote products & develop new customers, ensure technical communication, support with on-site visits, prepare direction for use of our products in applications
- Identify, help define, and manage customer expectations around technical projects that are needed to develop sales, strengthen our competitive position, and deliver new value to our customers
- Establish strong business relationships with direct customers / business partners (distributors)
- Provide monthly reporting of customer activities, opportunity management, territory challenges, technical services needed, and customer forecasts into our industrial S&OP demand plan.
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to report and record all relevant customer interactions, opportunities, and contacts
- Contribute to marketing activities on your markets (conferences, exhibitions, regulatory affairs, environment, customer’s communication codes, and competitor review...)
- Work with marketing and product management to identify, prioritize, and target customers & opportunities
- Plan and organize projects that demonstrate the performance of Procelys products together with our APAC Technical Services Manager and lab application team; communicate laboratory results and conclusions

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in in life sciences field (e.g. biopharma, microbiology, biochemistry, fermentation science, chemical engineering, food science, or similar) with a minimum of 10 years successful B2B sales experience in Biotech.
