We are currently seeking a Sales Manager focused on Retention to join our Power & Renewables Sales team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Essential Job Function/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for weekly forecast for month/quarter/year
  • Full responsibility for Churn and PI targets for the Power & Renewables Business
  • Manages approximately 6 Customer Success Managers focused on retention
  • Main KPIs are:
    • Solid Customer Journey Call Process for Renewals
    • Executing on Price Increase Targets by month/quarter/year
    • Executing on Churn Targets by month/quarter/year
  • Manages Retention War Room Process and Likelihood to Renew
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control retention program
  • Escalation point for sales calls, provides daily coaching to sales team to further develop our sales professionals and progress deals through the process
  • Analyzes retention statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting better retention
  • An expert on retention/sales process and coaching sales process for our retention professionals
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.
  • Represents company at industry association meetings to promote product.
  • Acts as liaison between sales and other departments
  • Holds pipeline reviews, 1:1s and forecast meetings
  • Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
  • Develops and implements new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
  • Requires communication with leadership.
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders
  • Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
  • Manages a team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.


Competitive Candidate Profile
To be successful, the senior sales professional must have:

  • Proven success in SaaS sales
  • 8 or more years sales experience
  • 3 or more years' managing a high performing retention sales team of at least 5 team members
  • Power & Renewables or Energy experience a plus
  • This person must thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment and have a humble and genuine curiosity for learning
  • Energetic and collaborative mixed in with a bit of competitiveness
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and committed to prospecting new business
  • Excellent communicator
  • Proven track record of consistent sales growth and quota obtainment
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct a solution-oriented sales process including qualification, buying process, decision makers, budgets, drafting proposals, and closing
  • Results-oriented and works with urgency with a #oneteam mentality


This role is eligible for: Commission
Salary Range: 110000 - 120000 Base Salary / 110000 - 120000 Commission
