Role Overview

The primary role of the Sales Manager – Nepal is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets across the Nepal market. The role requires strong commercial leadership, market development expertise, and the ability to effectively manage key customer and distributor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales, revenue, and profitability targets for the Nepal market in line with approved budgets.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive market growth and expand market share.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, key accounts, customers, and industry influencers.
  • Lead, coach, and support distributor sales to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain an effective CRM system to capture customer intelligence and business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing regular market insights and forecasts.
  • Prepare and execute monthly customer visit and travel plans aligned with business priorities.
  • Submit timely sales forecasts, fortnightly activity reports, and other business updates to management.
  • Travel extensively within Nepal to support sales development, customer engagement, and distributor management while ensuring compliance with Zamira policies and expense reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience                                                                          

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of sales, business development, or account management experience, within animal nutrition, animal health, feed additives, agribusiness, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering profitable business growth.
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners, and key customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, CRM management(Salesforce) and performance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the Nepal market, including customer networks and industry dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems(Salesforce).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Nepal.

Skills Required
