Our Downstream Chemicals team, through its knowledge and expertise, improves chemical technologies and processes to ensure the safety and reliability of hydrocarbon processing in its customers' refineries and industrial plants.

Partner with the best

As a Sales Manager (d/f/m), you will be involved in customer facing and closing deals for Downstream Chemicals. You will develop sales plan for a specific region within Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece and Israel (region will be defined, based on candidates location). You will also collaborate with other functional team to ensure sales target are met accordingly.

As a Sales Manager (d/f/m), you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans aligned to the European business plan to generate growth in the Mid & Downstream Chemicals market in Europe.

  • Establishing long-term strategic relationships with key customers at corporate facilities and in the field to create sales opportunities and developing commercial growth strategies.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence to identify opportunities for sales growth

  • Owning the full sales lifecycle by creating innovative solutions for customers using our product portfolio

  • Managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, both customer and internal.

  • Ensuring compliance for reporting of sales KPIs by meeting our service delivery requirements.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have successfully completed your studies in Chemical Engineering or an equal field

  • Have experience in working in chemical production and/or oil refineries as well as in sales environment

  • Have solid Mid & Downstream processes (refining, petrochemicals and/or industrial processing)

  • Have proven experience in a similar role, during which you will have built up a relationship of trust with your client and achieved the required commercial objectives.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer requirements and Mid & Downstream market conditions.

  • Have a good understanding of the financial and budgetary aspects of the role, including P&L and cash flow management.

  • Be fluent in Spanish and English OR Italian and English OR French and English (Spoken & Written)

  • Be able to travel up to 40% (within the defined Sales Region)
