We are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Düsseldorf, Germany.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve annual and long-term objectives

  • Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships within customer organizations

  • Identify business opportunities through data analysis and drive impactful growth initiatives

  • Manage the customer portfolio to deliver sales, margin, and product mix targets, taking corrective actions when needed

  • Negotiate commercial terms and annual agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide market intelligence on customers, competitors, and end-users

  • Act as the primary customer contact and collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, SBUs, etc.) to execute account plans

  • Oversee accounts receivable, credit management processes, and ensure accurate customer data and documentation

Who you are

  • You have a university degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • You have experience or knowledge of the packaging or labelling industry

  • You have a proven track record in sales, ideally in a B2B field sales environment

  • Experience in special segments such as oil & chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or wine is an advantage

  • You have strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex products

  • You are proactive, self-driven, and able to effectively manage priorities

  • You are customer-oriented with strong networking and relationship-building skills

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you are fluent in English and German
