UPM Adhesive Materials is seeking a driven Linerless Sales Manager to grow linerless label solutions in the US. This role is designed for a true hunter—someone who thrives in new business development, displacing incumbent materials, and converting prospects to innovative, sustainable solutions.

What you will do 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to strengthen UPM’s presence in the North American label market

  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new customers

  • Manage and grow large, complex accounts, including budgeting, forecasting and contract negotiation

  • Work closely with UPM sales teams, supply chain, technical sales and customer service to support onboarding and ongoing customer experience

  • Apply UPM’s pricing and service-level policies and maintain accurate documentation of agreements

  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, KPIs and market trends

  • Support UPM’s brand and product awareness in the marketplace

  • Collect and share market insights, customer needs and value chain feedback to support product and service development

  • Use digital tools (CRM, analytics and social media) to support sales effectiveness and customer engagement

  • Promote UPM’s commitment to sustainability in all interactions

Who you are 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • You have experience in outside sales in areas such as food packaging, pressure-sensitive labels, adhesive materials or consumables

  • You have experience in new business development and working in competitive environments

  • You are comfortable with prospecting, negotiation and closing activities

  • You may have experience working with national or regional hospitality brands, food distributors or OEMs

  • You are proactive and take initiative in your work

  • You demonstrate persistence and motivation to achieve goals

  • You are able to manage a sales pipeline in a structured and organized way

Additional information about the position

This position is fully remote.  

Travel requirements – up to 30% 

The position holder will report to Senior Sales Manager, Linerless, Americas.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in outside sales in food packaging, pressure-sensitive labels, adhesive materials or consumables
