What you'll own
Team Leadership
Hire, train, coach, and fire up a high-performing sales team. Set the culture. Raise the standard.
Performance & Goals
Set monthly and annual targets for units, gross profit, and operating income — then hit them.
Inventory Management
Source, order, and merchandise new and used vehicles. Keep the lot stocked and moving.
Market Intelligence
Analyze market data and sales reports to craft campaigns that win customers and outpace competition.
Factory Programs
Administer and maximize manufacturer-sponsored programs to drive volume and bonus dollars.
Cross-Department Alignment
Serve as the bridge between sales and all other departments. Keep the machine running smooth.

Qualifications- Must have a strong background in automotive sales
- 5 years minimum sales experience required
- Steady work and performance history
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
- Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
- Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through
Automotive Sales Manager - Education and/or Experience
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills Required
- 5+ years proven automotive sales experience
- Strong background in automotive sales
- Track record of consistent performance and steady career growth
- Ability to hire, train, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team
- Experience setting and meeting targets for units, gross profit, and operating income
- Experience sourcing, ordering, and merchandising new and used vehicle inventory
- Experience administering and maximizing manufacturer-sponsored (factory) programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Professional appearance and composed under pressure
- Steady work and performance history
- Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
