Mission and key priorities of the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager GDO Italy Fabriano based in Milan (Italy) reporting directly to the Head of Sales Italy for Fabriano Paper. In this role you will be responsible for the entire GDO Business, working on implementing a strategic growth plan for Fabriano with major GDO chains: Hyper/Super/DYI.

The role designed for you

  • Effectively drive the results of our ranges: School, Creative, Stationery, and Office in the "self-service sales model."

  • Work closely with the Head of Italy Sales to foster new categories and new store classes, as well as exploit all opportunities leveraging direct and indirect sales.

  • Be at the front end with national and regional GDO customers, forging the annual negotiations for conditions, assortments, and promotional plans, and monitoring the business flow according to the budget.

  • Support agents in special negotiations, defining and implementing tailor-made growth plans.

  • Maintain an outstanding visual merchandising approach.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with trade marketing and customer care service.

  • Conduct sales data business analysis to exploit potential and improve planning.

  • Organize presentations to enhance sales effectiveness through best practices.

  • Supervise collectible and service levels.

Who are we looking for

  • Proven years of experience in a B2C company, preferably within GDO Stationery Business

  • Excellence Sales skills dealing with managerial big organization

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, to lead customer negotiation and agents’ motivations

  • Brand Management

  • Analytical approach & good with data analysis

  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and passion for innovation

  • Proficient in excel and PTP

  • Italian and English proficiency, both spoken and written.
