We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive profitability, and support continued growth.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, maximizing vehicle sales and gross profit, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in automotive sales leadership, strong closing skills, and experience managing a CDJR sales operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of sales consultants.
  • Manage daily sales activities, including floor coverage, lead management, and customer follow-up.
  • Assist sales staff with negotiations and closing deals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with management on vehicle merchandising and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure all sales processes comply with dealership policies, lender requirements, and manufacturer standards.
  • Review sales performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual goals.
  • Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, CRM utilization, and sales techniques.
  • Handle customer escalations and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance department to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales management experience preferred.
  • Previous CDJR dealership experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and dealership management software.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
