The Role

TripleLift is hiring a Sales Manager to join our growing Canadian team.

The candidate will report to the Country Manager, Canada and will be responsible for developing Publicis, OMD and Cossette revenue, leading all new business within this patch as well growing its existing accounts, with further potential Publicis, OMD and Cossette responsibilities down the line.

This Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting new and existing business across their account list, creating an actionable plan of execution for account prioritization, and selling TripleLift’s full suite of programmatic and managed service solutions. The best candidate brings relationships with her or him to the table, and they are comfortable presenting at both a tactical and strategic level; all the while evangelizing, educating and influencing agency key decision makers.

In addition to day to day sales activities, the senior candidate will be responsible for proactively seeking out ways to deepen our IPG / Dentsu footprint with a focus on key accounts and senior relationships across the agencies, while critically thinking about our business to improve our overall product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead sales activities for a targeted list of key brands across Publicis, OMD and Cossette
  • Lead sales and business development activities for a targeted list of HoldCo agency accounts
  • Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan
  • Superior analytical skills and a firm grasp of their customers’ needs
  • Utilize a solution-selling philosophy by listening to key business requirements, and selling through TL's solutions that meet the clients' needs.
  • Assess potential business deals, through RFP responses and pursue proactive opportunities via strategic partnerships
  • Network at industry-relevant functions to increase Triplelift’s visibility and connect with new clients.
  • Maintain proper adherence to company standards for data entry/utilization through Triplelift’s CRM (Salesforce).
  • Effectively forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
  • Develop proficiency in TripleLift products/technology, and how they fit within the programmatic ecosystem.
  • Provide weekly updates to leadership on sales, leads, and the status of prospective projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in digital sales, media or ad tech; while carrying a sales quota
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising including SSP-DSP dynamics, CTV, programmatic landscape, and general sales process
  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
  • Proven track record of sales success, achieving goals, and managing to a number
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments
  • Strives for continued learning opportunities to build upon craft
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced fluid environment
  • Ability to accept feedback and constructive critique positively
  • Extremely strong and demonstrable work ethic
  • CTV and/or Retail Media experience is a plus
