Sales Manager Automation
As our Sales Manager, you'll drive the growth of our intralogistics automation business across EMEA, leveraging your well-established network of clients and consultants. You'll be the primary contact for key clients and spearhead the acquisition of new automation and intralogistics projects, directly contributing to our company's success.
Tasks:
— Drive sales growth in the region by proactively acquiring new customers and
— Developing strong relationships in the intralogistics automation market with customers, consultants and institutions.
— Depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments
— Analyze customer needs and create the right intralogistics automation solutions tailored to the customer needs
— Consult the customers with the optimal solution based on factors such as throughput, space, and budget.
— Lead the full project sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature, employing an added-value approach to build customer trust and secure project wins.
— Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management, service) and external partners to ensure optimal solution delivery and seamless project execution.
— Regularly report on sales activities and pipeline, and actively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure achievement of order intake targets.
— Stay informed about industry trends, monitor customer satisfaction, and actively participate in relevant industry events to network and promote our solutions.
Qualifications:
— Completed studies in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering (with a technical focus), or a comparable qualification (or technical training with business administration certification)
— Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or solution selling, preferably in the intralogistics automation industry.
— Strong network of contacts in the intralogistics automation market, including customers, consultants, and institutions.
— In-depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments.
— Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and recommend optimal solutions.
— Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of our solutions to customers.
— Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
— Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
— Willingness to travel within the region.
— Fluency in [relevant languages, e.g., English and German] is a plus.
