A Day in the LifeAccelerated Technologies is a newly created Business Unit that includes some of the most innovative therapies and portfolios at MDT (Neurovascular, Peripheral, Neuromodulation (DBS, TDD, SCS), Pelvic Health and Spine). We are currently looking for a customer-oriented Sales Manager to drive and implement strategic directions (inclusive of market access and development), sales objectives and targets for the Accelerated Technologies business in line with the regional strategy.In this role you will develop and coach a high performing team that will achieve ambitious sales and profit targets. This position will report directly to the Country Director and will require 50-60% of traveling across Romania and Moldova.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Drives and implements strategic direction, objectives and targets for the Accelerated Technologies businesses in line with the regional strategy
- Achieves sales revenue and profit targets for the cluster (Romania & Moldova) - P&L responsibility
- Plans, directs and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified region/district/geography to achieve established sales targets
- Develops and/or implements business strategies for existing and potential accounts
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key stakeholders in order to support selling, market development, service efforts and clinical programs
- Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization's sales plans to increase market share
- Builds a strong relationship and works closely with functions (Customer Care, Tender, Legal, Regulatory) and enablers (Market Access, Marketing, SAM) in order to increase therapy adoption and access reimbursement
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Life Sciences and 5+ years of successful professional experience in biomedical or related industry
- Medical device sales experience in sales management or leadership role
- Teamwork oriented and interested in working in a multicultural and cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and managing tenders
- Strong business acumen and networking skills
- Fluency in both Romanian and English
