Job Title: Sales Management Specialist 

Job Summary: 

This position is a internal sales role handling tons of sales data. It requires analytic skills and data process ability. Sales management specialist needs to work with other departments very closely to provide the customer input. It serves as a window between customer and internal departments.   

Job Functions:

  •  Monitor and forecast auto industry trends, auto glass market needs. Analyze data on past sales and customers’ EDI forecast to predict future sales. 
  • Gather data on customer plants capability, competitor conditions using interviews, questionnaires and surveys. Analyze customer data to plan FGA’s key targets and strategies. Generate and conduct understandable summaries, reports, tables and graphs based on research findings, monitor and maintain customer portals (for customer request, sales forecast and customer production plans to adjust our market analysis.) 
  • Follow and monitor monthly and annual sale revenue closely. 
  • Complete Headquarters sales reports, department reports and all other working related reports on a monthly basis.    
  • Verify and monitor customer payments and provide remittance to Finance department. Follow up if there is any payment issues.   
  • Work with suppliers on the transfer programs and consigned programs (price/inventory/contract/reconciliation). Handle all related issues.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction and share information with each department, in order to improve company performance.
  • Work closely with account managers and program managers to collect and communicate customers’ information and meet customer request.
  • Maintain customer contracts and other confidential information.
  • Working with supplier to make purchase order based on EDI forecast. Working with EDI/PM/AM to confirm EDI data correct; and handle related issues like engineer change/EOP/transfer.

Qualifications 

  • Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin . Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, leadership, and customers both domestic and international.
  • Bilingual English and Mandarin language is a requirement for the position.
  • More than one year working experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate; Masters degree is preferred.
  • Preferred majors: Business Management, Accounting, Communication, Data Analysis.
  • Safety FIRST! Mindset is required.
  • Ability to walk or move around the plant for extended periods of time. Some lifting up to 35 lbs. with assistance is expected.    
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Preferred MS Project skilled. Outlook is the email client. Also use of Skype, and SharePoint navigation.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity MRP/ERP software. PLEX is current shop standard.
  • Skilled in documentation of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning ) & PPAP ( Production Part Approval Process).
  • Manufacturing processes-Hi speed assembly, packaging, preferred glass bending and manufacturing.
  • Presentation - Oral and Written, Power Point, Excel or similar Leadership ability (w/ motivational & cooperative aptitude).
  • Demonstrated decision making/leadership abilities in managing multiple programs to meet goals (quality, cost and delivery of programs) from concept through launch.

Skills Required

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • More than one year working experience
  • Undergraduate degree; Master's preferred
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP software
  • Skilled in documentation of APQP & PPAP
