We are seeking a highly motivated, goal-driven, and high-energy Sales Manager to join in a player/coach capacity to not only focus on strategicsales in the state and local East region, but to help establish a team of SLED Account Managers. We are looking to augment our team with passionate people who are excited about joining anestablished “scale-up” to help shape and drive our future. Candidates must be located on the East Coast with a strong preference for the DMV area.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will develop a strategic go-to market business plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals for the East region.
- You will build, lead and manage a team of highly motivated, successful Sales Reps located in the East region through coaching and mentoring
- Build sales pipeline that achieves 4X of your quota by developing relationships with top tier prospects, partners, and customers
- Ensuring quarterly and annual revenue targets are achieved, including net new sales and renewals
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Salesforce data for your territory and providing reliable forecast information to upper management
- Quoting, negotiating, and closing highly complex transactions
- Actively engaging in territory planning and opportunity development
- Staying abreast of competitive intelligence and providing feedback for management
- Manage and grow new customer relationships and revenue associated with Sayari’s Graph, MAP and Global Data File products.
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with value-add resellers and grow business through these partnerships
- Participate in marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure that programs succeed according to planInterface with Sayari headquarters to coordinate sales and marketing activity
- Monitor client satisfaction and elevate issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution
- Foster and facilitate a collaborative team environment which intersects empowerment with accountability in a matrix management organization structure
- Set own priorities and schedules to meet established goals and meet commitments consistently
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years sales experience in state and local sales in the East Region
- Previous experience managing, leading and building sales teams
- Demonstrated history of consistent sales achievement over quota
- Consistent track record for developing new business and managing a complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals
- Demonstrated success with CXO and multi-level selling
- Highly motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services
- Strong time management, ability to multi-task, takes initiative and follows through
- Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity
- Must be located in the Washington, DC Metro area
