The Role

At Merge, we revolutionize the way B2B companies integrate, offering one API to add hundreds of integrations to our customers' product.

We handle the full integrations lifecycle — from an easy initial build taking just weeks, to providing integration observability tools ensuring customer delight, and fully owning the maintenance of integrations.

Thousands of companies use Merge to power their integrations, enabling them to unblock sales, reduce customer churn, accelerate time to market for new products, and save engineering costs and resources.

We're looking for a results-oriented and motivated Sales Leader to grow our Enterprise sales team. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, you'll oversee a team of Account Executives, providing feedback, coaching, and training to ensure quota attainment and overall account development. Your primary focus will be recruiting and developing a team responsible for capturing net-new business within your assigned territory. On a day-to-day basis, you'll help your team empower our customers to achieve strategic outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Consistently help your team meet or exceed quota
  • Be considered a top-performing team leader by consistently exceeding team goals
  • Cultivate a team of Account Executives that see consistent month-over-month success
  • Serve as a mentor, leader, or coach to other new peers of the team
  • Provide feedback to the executive team on a regular basis and help them steer the company in the right direction.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • You have 5+ years of software sales leadership experience.
  • You have expert knowledge and experience in building and motivating sales teams, growing pipeline, and hitting revenue targets.
  • You have consistent achievement of sales goals with high seller participation.
  • You are a talent magnet!
  • You have the curiosity to learn technical concepts and articulate them in a way that highlights business value to senior or executive stakeholders.

Compensation

  • The cash compensation range for this role is $300,000 - $350,000.
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full time employees receive an equity compensation package.
