ROLE SUMMARY:
Sales Leads are accountable for driving the growth, execution, and overall success of Elysian, Golden Road, and Four Peaks within their assigned wholesaler network. This is not a traditional Sales Rep role— it is a leadership position requiring a proactive, strategic, and highly accountable individual who serves as the driving force behind our brands' performance in market. You will leverage data, market insights, and business analytics to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and accelerate sales growth. You are responsible for developing accurate forecasts, improving execution at retail, and ensuring brand standards are consistently upheld across their territory. You will build strong partnerships with wholesaler leadership, coaching and developing field sales teams, and collaborating closely with Anheuser-Busch partners and local commercial teams. Sales Leads must be comfortable influencing without direct authority, leading through relationships, and executing strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary business partner and strategic advisor to assigned wholesaler leadership teams, driving long-term growth for the Craft West portfolio.
Develop and execute 90-, 120-, and 180-day market plans aligned with annual volume, distribution, and revenue objectives.
Analyze sales trends, market performance, and execution metrics to identify growth opportunities and recommend data-driven business strategies.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at both the wholesaler and retail levels to influence execution and maximize brand visibility.
Hold wholesaler partners accountable for delivering against agreed-upon KPIs through regular business reviews, action planning, and performance follow-up.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Anheuser-Busch commercial teams, marketing, and distributor leadership to ensure alignment on market priorities and strategic initiatives.
Identify whitespace opportunities for distribution expansion, portfolio optimization, and new account development across assigned markets.
Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to provide market insights and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Lead wholesaler education sessions focused on brand strategy, portfolio priorities, sales execution, and best practices.
Influence execution without direct authority by building credibility, fostering partnerships, and coaching wholesaler teams toward shared business objectives.
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into action plans.
Experience leading business reviews, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct reporting authority.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency with business analytics tools such as Power BI, Circana/Nielsen, or similar reporting platforms.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or similar field.
3+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred.
Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred.
Familiar with VIP iDig, IRI, BIR, Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
Conducts work in a standing and sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.
Job requires the ability to be in physical retail locations, late night activations and travel.
