Job Description – Sales Lead - Low Code and Dynamics
Reports to – Low Code and Dynamics Practice Director
An exciting opportunity for a driven, high-potential individual to lead and shape business development for one of Kainos’ fastest-growing practices. This senior sales leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional growth through Low Code and Dynamics 365 solutions, working across sectors and regions to define and execute a successful go-to-market strategy. As a leader within a rapidly expanding area, you’ll play a pivotal role in building on an already strong foundation, fostering key partnerships, and driving impactful results.
The Sales Lead will combine personal sales activity with leadership responsibilities, carrying a personal sales target while leading, coaching, and developing the wider sales team. Reporting directly to the Practice Director, the successful candidate will play a hands-on role in delivering growth and ensuring team success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Drive the development and execution of services and offerings, ensuring clear and differentiated value propositions that resonate with target customers across sectors and regions.
- Work closely with leadership to define the go-to-market strategy, aligning services and sales activities with business objectives.
- Be accountable for driving the business offerings, maintaining alignment with market trends and customer needs while ensuring commercial viability.
- Take ownership of senior relationships with Microsoft, ensuring alignment between sales teams and Microsoft stakeholders to unlock opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
- Use data-driven insights to track performance, refine strategies, and identify new growth opportunities.
Sales and Business Development
- Drive personal sales activity to meet personal sales quota targets, ensuring alignment with the wider team’s goals.
- Own the sales pipeline, ensuring effective qualification and prioritization of opportunities to drive new business revenue.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts to foster deeper client relationships and growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring their success and aligning solutions to their business needs.
Team Leadership
- Lead by example, combining personal sales delivery with the leadership, coaching, and development of the sales and presales teams.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing team of sales and presales professionals, ensuring they are empowered to deliver against ambitious targets.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture where team members thrive.
- Set clear KPIs for the team and ensure accountability for achieving both individual and team targets.
- Be responsible for the accuracy of sales forecasts, the health of the sales pipeline, and the effective use of CRM across the team.
Marketing and Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that build pipeline, enhance brand recognition, and position Kainos as a leader in Low Code and Dynamics solutions.
- Actively engage in thought leadership, representing the practice at industry events, webinars, and customer forums to promote the Kainos brand.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, case studies, and best practices to support business development efforts.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that build pipeline, enhance brand recognition, and position Kainos as a leader in Low Code and Dynamics solutions.
- Actively engage in thought leadership, representing the practice at industry events, webinars, and customer forums to promote the Kainos brand.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, case studies, and best practices to support business development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading sales and business development functions within enterprise software or digital solutions, with a focus on Low Code and Dynamics.

Experience and Expertise
Deep knowledge and experience across the following areas:
- Low Code App Development (e.g., Power Apps, OutSystems, Mendix)
- CRM/CX solutions (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce)
- Automation (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath)
- A strong understanding of how these technologies can be combined to deliver transformative business outcomes and drive measurable customer value.
- Proven success in consultative selling, engaging credibly with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
Skills and Attributes
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and coach high-performing teams.
- Strong project management capabilities, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities aligned with business objectives.
