Role Summary
As a Sales Support Officer, you will support the sales team by identifying potential customers, promoting bank products, and helping convert leads into sales. You will also ensure all processes follow bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products
Generate and follow up on sales leads
Support sales campaigns and meet targets
Complete and submit customer applications accurately
Ensure all customer documents are correct and complete
Provide good customer service at all times
Keep records of sales and performance
Work with team members and attend training
Follow all company policies, including KYC, AML, and operational procedures
Maintain security, safety, and confidentiality standards
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Some sales or customer service experience is a plus
Willingness to learn and adapt

Skills Required
- Degree graduate
- Previous experience in a Sales and Service type role
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of processes and activities
- Working knowledge of KYC, anti-money laundering (AML), and relevant banking legislation
- Understanding of cash management, vault procedures, and operational risk requirements
- Working understanding of technical systems (e.g., ARO Teller)
- Broad awareness of banking products and services (consumer lending, Barclaycard, etc.)
- Ability to accurately complete and submit customer application forms per bank policies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Visual concentration for screen-based work
- Compliance with health and safety, security of premises, and risk controls
- Participation in development programmes and training
