Summary Generated by Built In
Do you want to create 2D and 3D sales layouts and models for customer projects? And are you ready to design factory layouts and process systems for cutting-edge projects in the pharma industry, as well as in food and environmental sectors? Join us in a key role where you drive layout, documentation and design for sales projects across different sizes and levels of complexity.

Responsibilities / Tasks

You will be a key design contact for the Sales team and relevant stakeholders, providing timely and high-quality design input for customer proposals and sales projects – from smaller 2D sales layouts and drawings to larger factory layouts and detailed 3D models. The projects may cover Greenfield and Brownfield projects as well as Aftersales requests.

In this process, you will work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements, develop suitable design solutions and provide the technical input needed for customer proposals. You will support Sales throughout the different stages of an opportunity, from initial concepts and layouts to more detailed 3D models and design packages. You will also collaborate with colleagues in India and ensure that design packages are coordinated, reviewed and aligned with the overall solution.

You will, for example:

  • create 2D sales layouts, factory layouts and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks while managing diagrams and documentation with P&ID and Vault
  • update 3D layouts with system inputs and follow up with system owners to ensure correct integration into the overall layout and interconnecting piping
  • produce 2D drawings with part lists, system arrangements and principal diagrams
  • collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues in India and support the review of design packages – with occasional travel of up to 20 days per year
  • participate in weekly meetings and keep stakeholders updated with progress and drawings

Your Profile / Qualifications

With your technical mindset and attention to detail, you take ownership of your tasks and ensure that design and documentation are delivered with high accuracy. You enjoy working across cultures and departments – and you contribute effectively to the progress of the project.

We imagine that you:

  • have a background as technical designer, mechanical or process engineer
  • are experienced with Autodesk Inventor, P&ID and preferably Plant 3D
  • are confident working on several projects at different phases simultaneously
  • communicate fluently in both Danish and English.
